Mutual Aid is a personal wellness check-in tool designed for first responders. It helps you track how you're doing over time, identify patterns, and connect with resources. It is built and operated by Forward Career Labs LLC.
Mutual Aid is not a medical device, clinical assessment tool, crisis intervention service, mental health treatment, or substitute for professional mental health care. It does not monitor your responses in real time, does not employ licensed clinicians, and does not provide any form of diagnosis or treatment.
Use of Mutual Aid does not create any clinical, therapeutic, or professional relationship of any kind between you and Forward Career Labs LLC or any of its representatives.
Mutual Aid is intended for adults 18 years of age or older who are current or former first responders, military personnel, or emergency healthcare workers. By using the app, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
Mutual Aid is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, thoughts of suicide or self-harm, or any other emergency, stop using the app and contact emergency services immediately.

All data you enter into Mutual Aid is stored locally on your device using your browser's local storage. No data is transmitted to Forward Career Labs LLC, our servers, your employer, your agency, or any third party. We have no access to your responses, check-in history, or any other information you enter.
Because data is stored locally, clearing your browser data or switching devices will permanently delete your check-in history. We strongly recommend using the export feature to save your records if you want to keep them.
The "Community Pulse" feature displays simulated data during the beta period. It does not represent real aggregated data from other users. This will be disclosed clearly within the app.
Mutual Aid is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. Forward Career Labs LLC makes no representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or suitability of the app for any particular purpose.
We do not warrant that the app will be available at all times, free from errors, or that any information provided will produce any particular outcome for you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Forward Career Labs LLC, its owner, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Mutual Aid, including but not limited to any decisions made in reliance on information provided by the app.
You assume full responsibility for how you use this tool. Mutual Aid is a supplementary wellness resource only. It is not a replacement for professional mental health care, peer support programs, or emergency services.
Use of Mutual Aid is entirely voluntary. Nothing in this app is intended to compel any particular action. All resources, suggestions, and information provided are for informational purposes only.
Mutual Aid is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any employer, fire department, EMS agency, law enforcement department, military branch, or healthcare organization. Your employer has no access to your data. Your use of this app is entirely private.
Mutual Aid is currently in beta. Features, pricing, and functionality may change. Continued use after any material changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
